Toys have been played with for hundreds and thousands of years.
If you think toys were only invented in the 20th century think again! Toys have around since before the early Egyptians.
The toys then were like the toys now but they had no electronics. Back then, they played with board games, dolls, marbles, toy soldiers, knuckle bones, spinning tops, wooden animals, balls, inflated pigs bladders and many more.
So now you know what all the children in the ancient times played with.Would you like to be a child then, or do you prefer the technology today?

That is a good question! I think I really like the idea to play with modern and "old" toys. I am sure, riding a bike, playing imaginary games with dolls and toy figures or do some art with whatever you can find is still as interesting now as it used to be in the old times. A good computer game isn't too bad either! I guess, as with everything, a good balance is the right answer. Mix and match with old and new might be the most fun. (Although I am not so sure about the inflated pigs bladder :0))
