My Favourite Poem

My favourite poem is called "dreamer" by Brian Moses.

Dreamer

I dreamt I was an ocean and no one polluted me.
I dreamt I was a whale and no hunters chased after me.
I dreamt I was the air and nothing blackened me.
I dreamt I was a stream and nobody poisoned me.
I dreamt I was an elephant and nobody stole my ivory.
I dreamt I was a rainforest and no one cut down my trees.
I dreamt I painted a smile on the face of the earth for all to see.

It is my favourite because I like the way how its telling a story and it gives a message about not  doing things like polluting the ocean and cutting down trees.

Tuatara

Tuatara by Laris Edmond

Tuatara old survivor.
Reptilian grandfather.
Observing heavy lidded eyes.
The still old centuries passing by.
Slow little bloke, in enamel coat.
Shedding his  tail, croaking his croak.
While another thousand years waits at his door.

paw paw

Mouth-watering, sweet, juicy, fresh, flesh, a gold mine.
Slippery, slimy, mushy, soft , miracle.
Brown dots like chicken poxes.
Greenly yellow like a banana.
Little seeds pitch black like the night sky.
Like chocolate crumbs, round like tiny marble's.
Round like a open fish's mouths.

I have to have some so badly it's like I am going for gold.

A Popcorn Freak

My friend is a popcorn freak , because  he is a selfish geek.
He robs banks and steals sheep, and he looks angry in his sleep.
His popcorn head is always red , and he looks great in his bed.
He wants to take over the world, with rats and bats and pussy cats.
He likes being stupid to the world, he puts stupid clips on youtube.
He eat worms for breakfast and tea, and spews  them up with glee.
He wants to fly above the sky, and crash down with a frown and a crown.
He got arrested by a worm, ate it for tea and made it burn.
The popcorn freak  got bitten by a dino geek .
and that is how he died with pride.
Its sad but everyone's super glad.

Cross Country By Alice Kerse

My heart was pounding like a horse galloping at 100 miles an hour,
Come on Alice I can do it my head was telling me that I was going to faint
come on I can do it .
"Yay" I was at the top, OK I'm going down
Whoahoo
I was going as fast as a steam train.
When I get home I'm going to say "Mum that was the best day of cross country ever.
