Tuatara by Laris Edmond
Tuatara old survivor.
Reptilian grandfather.
Observing heavy lidded eyes.
The still old centuries passing by.
Slow little bloke, in enamel coat.
Shedding his tail, croaking his croak.
While another thousand years waits at his door.
